KMS 0-0-22
With fertilizer responsible for at least one third of a crop's yield, it's no wonder balanced soil fertility is such a top priority in high-yield agriculture. The "Law of the Minimum" States that yield is limited by the nutrient in shortest supply; so ensuring all nutrients - not just one or two - is critical to profitability. As essential nutrients like magnesium and sulfur are continually removed from the soil by intensive cropping practices, they must be replenished. Many of today's high analysis fertilizers put little emphasis on secondary macronutrients. This, combined with the fact that less sulfur is returned to the soil due to government restrictions on emissions, means that achieving balanced fertilization requires more than a traditional NPK program. The nutrients in KMS are in the sulfate form, meaning they are immediately available to plants. KMS is the only water-soluble combination of potassium, magnesium and sulfur on the market. It does not contribute to soil acidity. KMS comes from langbeinite, a naturally occurring nutrient-rich mineral found deep below the New Mexico desert. Because it is 100% natural, KMS boasts the added benefit of being listed of ruse in organic crop production.
