Gary Schinderle is a 1975 graduate of the University of Illinois with a B.S. in Ornamental Horticulture. He became a Golf Course Superintendent in 1976, becoming certified in 1984, and was a Superintendent for over 15 years. He was the 1990 recipient of the GCSAA “Leo Feser” award for an article entitled “Identifying and Correcting Severe Water Quality Problems”. In that article he detailed his experience with managing turf using a low quality irrigation water source as the Golf Course Superintendent at Oakmont Country Club in Denton, Texas. Gary has extensive knowledge and expertise in water and soil chemistry.
