Jim Taylor

Jim Taylor, former Superintendent at Boulder Country Club has been in the golf maintenance profession for 27 years and a Golf Course Superintendent for the past 15 years.  He started in the business in 1973 at Plym Park Golf Course in Niles, Michigan.  Jim received his degree in Turf-grass Management from  Michigan State University in 1977 and he continued to work at golf courses in the Mid-West until moving to Colorado in 1982, where he became the Assistant Superintendent at Pole Creek Golf Club.  The same year Pole Creek was named “Best New Public” by Golf Digest in 1985, Jim took over as Golf Course Superintendent.  In 1990 he moved to Lake Tahoe and took the position of Golf Course Superintendent at Incline Village Golf Resort, featuring two beautiful 18  hole courses on the North Shore of Lake Tahoe.  In 1992 he headed south to Mira Vista Golf Club in Forth Worth, Texas, the site of the 1994 Texas State Amateur.  In 1996 he moved back to Colorado and became Superintendent at Boulder Country Club before joining our team here at Golf Enviro Systems!
