Clearigate^® Algaecide/Herbicide is highly effective in controlling thick-walled filamentous algae, colonial planktonic algae, Chara and copper-sensitive emergent, floating and submerged aquatic plants such as sago and other pondweed species, specifically in irrigation canals and other non-fish waters. Has no general water use restrictions at label rates. Active ingredient is 3.825% copper as elemental (copper-ethanolamine) with an emulsified surfactant/penetrant. Permits may be required for application of this product, contact local authorities/state pesticide agency.
